LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) is a facilitated method where participants “think with their hands”, building models to represent ideas, challenges and solutions, then sharing the meaning behind them through guided conversation. It makes conversations more engaging, more equal and more effective—turning abstract ideas into something tangible, visible and actionable. 

LSP structures equal participation (every voice is heard), creates psychological safety, and externalises thinking in 3D so teams reach shared understanding faster. It’s research-informed and used globally across business and education for strategy, innovation, leadership and problem-solving.  

You’ll leave with:

We capture outcomes in the Share → Capture phases—e.g., photos of key models, notes/colour-coded post-its, and a simple ORID or Kanban board to distil takeaways into actions.

A repeatable four-step flow: Question → Build → Share → Capture.

We begin with warm-ups (e.g., 6 Bricks), move to focus builds (individual → group), then debrief and organise insights into actions.

No. LSP is about expressing ideas—not perfect models. The process is structured so everyone can contribute equally.  

• 🟨 Essentials (1 Hour): Introductory workshop covering the LEGO® Serious Play® method, 6-Bricks warm-ups, an individual build, share, and quick capture.
   
• 🟦 Core (2 Hours): Our most popular workshop—warm-ups, an individual build and a shared landscape around your focus question, with ORID/Kanban capture.
   
• 🟥 Deep Dive (3+ Hours / Half-Day): Extended facilitation—group/landscape models, a 10-brick re-warm, prioritisation, and comprehensive action capture.
   
• 🟩 Custom / Full-Day: Bespoke agenda aligned to your objectives (e.g., strategy, ways of working, stakeholder mapping). POA (Price on Application).

• Ideal: tables of 5–7 for equal voice and pace.
   
• Standard capacity: up to 15 participants with our kits supplied (e.g., 2–3 tables).
   
• Larger groups: up to ~30 by arrangement (additional kits/logistics; table-based sharing to stay interactive and on time).

• In person: Yes—everything required is supplied.
  
• Online: Each person needs their own bricks. Core and Deep Dive Workshops require one LEGO® Starter Kit (2000414) per participant.
  
  • Note: Online - Essentials (1 Hour) Workshops can use household LEGO®; However, a LEGO® Starter Kit (2000414) is recommended. 
  • Sessions are facilitated live via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or your platform.

At your workplace, an offsite venue you book, or online (MS Teams or your organisation’s platform). 

A short discovery call to confirm goals, participants and constraints; basic room/AV setup (tables, chairs, screen); any background docs you’d like considered. We’ll provide a simple run sheet and checklist. 

We design for equal voice and will adapt prompts, pacing and instructions on request. Please advise any accessibility/sensory needs in advance. (Hosts are responsible for venue accessibility and workplace H&S.) 

LSP is designed for adult learning. We can adapt for mature secondary learners (16+) with teacher supervision and duty-of-care in place. Bricks are a choking hazard—not suitable for children under 3. 

• Recording: Not by default; we’ll ask for consent if useful.
   
• Photos: We may photograph models/outputs for capture; tell us if anyone prefers not to be photographed.
   
• Sharing: Internal sharing is encouraged. For public marketing use, we’ll seek your written OK first.
   
• Confidentiality: We treat your information as confidential (see Privacy Policy & Terms).

We’re flexible. 2–4 weeks’ notice is ideal; urgent bookings may be possible subject to availability. A quick discovery call gets the ball rolling. 

Pricing depends on duration, group size, travel and any custom design. Essentials, Core, Deep-Dive formats are listed on our site; custom/full-day sessions are quoted. (See Workshops or contact us for a tailored quote.) 

We’ll confirm details via a discovery call, then issue a clear proposal with inclusions. Payment method depends on the session type (invoice/EFT or secure online checkout). See our Terms & Conditions for full details.

We allow fair rescheduling and outline time-based refunds/fees to protect both sides.

• 14+ days: Full refund or free reschedule
   
• 7–13 days: 50% refund or one free reschedule
   
• <7 days: Non-refundable (reschedule at our discretion)
   
• One free reschedule with 7+ days’ notice; extras may incur a fee
   
• No-shows: Session deemed delivered
   
• Custom/venue/materials: specific terms in your proposal
   
• ACL rights remain (consumer guarantees still apply)
